Protest je organizovao najvei italijanski radniki sindikat CGIL, iji su lideri upozorili da, s obzirom na ekonomsku situaciju u zemlji sledi "lavina" otkaza, zbog ega su spremni da stupe u generalni trajk, ukoliko vlada ne preduzme odreene mere i smanji poreze za radnike i penzionere Više o temi ovde...
